Employee Giving/ Corporate Holiday Giving

For a third time, K.I.D.S. was chosen as one of the two charities of choice for PIMCO's Jeans for Charity drive. Launched nearly five years ago, PIMCO's Jeans for Charity program encourages employees to wear jeans once a quarter and make a donation to The PIMCO Foundation. In 2010, PIMCO employees raised $6,000 for K.I.D.S. This year, they have nearly doubled their donation, and have made a $10,000 gift to K.I.D.S. With these funds, K.I.D.S. will be able to provide for many children in need in 2012.
For the first time ever, companies, such as Guaranteed Home Mortgage Company, AIMIA, Merchant Factors Corporation, ULM I Holding Corporation, CapRelo, ZBI Employee Allocated Gift Fund, and Fuse LLC, participated in K.I.D.S.' Employee/Corporate holiday and end of year giving. In addition, employees of IPSOS and Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP continued to support us, as they have in previous years.
Many companies, such as Health Resources Optimization and Toyota Financial Services, also choose to donate to K.I.D.S. on behalf of their employees and clients.
Last, nearing the end of 2011, employees and clients of UGG and Deckers Outdoor Corporation donated nearly $23,000 to K.I.D.S., on behalf of Connie Rishwain, President of UGG Australia and long-time K.I.D.S. Board member. K.I.D.S. cannot express enough our thanks and gratitude for such a thoughtful and generous donation.
