    American Apparel & Footwear Association

    The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) is the national trade association representing apparel, footwear and other sewn product companies, and their suppliers serving the global market. The AAFA president is Chairman of the K.I.D.S. Board and the association has provided visibility for K.I.D.S. through its extensive communications network. In 2008, K.I.D.S. was the charity recipient of funds donated at the AAFA’s annual American Image Awards gala.

    All Baby & Child, Inc.

    All Baby & Child, Inc. (ABC) is a national association representing the nation’s leading independently owned and operated juvenile product specialty stores. The president of ABC is a member of the K.I.D.S. Board and the association provides major financial support, exhibit space at its annual trade show and encouragement of its members to donate new juvenile products, which otherwise would be excess inventory.

    Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association, Inc.

    The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association, Inc. (JPMA) is a national trade organization representing 95% of the $7.3 billion industry that manufactures and/or imports infant products such as cribs, car seats, strollers, bedding, and a wide range of accessories and decorative items. The President of JPMA is a member of the K.I.D.S. Board and JPMA provides financial, trade show and outreach support.

  • Toy Industry Foundation

    Toy Industry Foundation

    Through a newly strengthened relationship with the Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) K.I.D.S. has assumed the logistics and administrative responsibilities of the TIF’s signature program, The Toy Bank. The Toy Bank provides new, donated toys to children throughout the country in the 400 TIF associated agencies.

  • K.I.D.S. actively participates in leading industry trade shows to promote its mission and activities, enlist new product donors, acknowledge the contributions of companies and recognize the important leadership of individuals.

    The collection of display merchandise from exhibitors at the conclusion of trade shows is an important and ongoing source of product donations for K.I.D.S. Exhibitors avoid having to pack and ship goods while K.I.D.S. procures hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of product annually for social service agencies in show cities.
  • New York International Gift Fair

    New York International Gift Fair

    The New York International Gift Fair will be held January 28-February 2, 2012 at the JAVITS Center in New York. The Fair hosts 2800 exhibiting companies showcasing the best gift lines across the home, lifestyle, and baby and children's sectors.
    This year, in addition to collecting baby and children's products, K.I.D.S. will collect products from the Home, Gift and Furniture Sectors. This is a great opportunity for K.I.D.S. to help entire families in need.

  • MAGIC Marketplace

    MAGIC Marketplace

    The fashion industry gathers twice a year in Las Vegas at the MAGIC Marketplace. The first show of the year is February 12th-15th , 2012. MAGIC is the leading show for buyers and sellers of men's, women's and children's apparel and accessories. MAGIC donates promotional support to help K.I.D.S secure merchandise donations. In 2010, show organizers helped generate more than $3 million worth of products for Haiti disaster relief in 2010.

  • ABC Kids Expo

    ABC Kids Expo

    The ABC Kids Expo is held annually and will be moving to Louisville Kentucky this year. This trade show is the sole and most important trade show for the juvenile industry.
    Every year, over $400, 000 worth of product is collected by K.I.D.S from show exhibitors and is distributed to needy children thru agencies across the United States.

  • ENK Children’s Club

    ENK Children's Club

    Four times a year -- January, March, August and October – ENK International Trade Events presents the Children's Club trade show in New York City. ENK has generously provided K.I.D.S. with space at the show to reach potential new donors of children’s apparel and products and distributes our materials to every exhibitor to raise awareness about K.I.D.S.

  • Toy Fair

    Toy Fair

    American International Toy Fair is the largest toy trade show in the Western Hemisphere. In cooperation with the Toy Industry Foundation (T.I.F.) and with the help of some 100 volunteers, every year K.I.D.S. collects more than $500, 000 worth of toys and educational games at the February Show.

  • Join Us - Connecting K.I.D.S. With Your Brand

    Many of our donor partners combine their good work with K.I.D.S. with a range of branding, marketing or community relations programs. We can share our experience and ideas with your marketing and public affairs staffs to develop unique, individualized programs that reinforce your brand, expand your market and increase connections with your customers.

    For example:

    • A toy retailer can create an in-store promotion for a special holiday K.I.D.S. product donation program.
    • A children’s book publisher can make K.I.D.S. the centerpiece of a “buy-a-book” and we’ll donate a second book program.
    • Hang tags and special in-store promotions can associate a retailer’s or manufacturer’s brand with their work with K.I.D.S.
    • Companies can co-brand advertising and catalogs with a charitable appeal that supports a brand and corporate mission.
    • Manufacturers can conduct a PR campaign to align products with positive publicity and goodwill.
    • Trade associations can partner with K.I.D.S. during annual conferences and exhibitions.

  • Soles4Souls

    Soles4Souls

    Together K.I.D.S. and Soles4Souls have distributed over $26 million worth of shoes to families across the US. In a joint mobilization for Haiti in 2010, we delivered over 156,000 pairs of shoes and 85,000 shirts worth $5.5 million, to those fighting for survival after a devastating earthquake. Under our partnership with Soles4Souls, K.I.D.S. has become a key distributor of new shoes donated to children in need. Manufacturers and retailers with excess new shoes can contact Soles4Souls to start the donation process.
