Ms. Terry Speed, a native of Greensboro - and a mother of two, grandmother of seven, and great-grandmother of two - coordinates the Homeless Hospitality House at the BCC. Her work includes helping neighbors obtain identification cards, so they can find jobs, services, and medical care. She provides clothing and oversees showers, and cooks some of the tastiest meals in Greensboro four times a week. The folks served by the center were very happy to get new socks! (K.I.D.S.) by volunteering to wrap donated baby toys that will be given to new mothers in a drug abuse recovery program in Manhattan. Click here for more info.
