Milestone Celebrations A Great Time To Give Back
Weddings
Getting married? Now you can support Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. by registering with the I Do Foundation. From honeymoons to invitations to wedding gifts to charitable wedding favors, the I Do Foundation allows couples and their guests to make wedding -related purchases that generate donations for charity. The I Do Foundation ’s Donation Registry service also makes it easy for guests to make donations in lieu of gifts through the Charity Registry. Couples can also create a Gift Registry and choose to have a portion of their gift purchases donated to K.I.D.S. By registering with one of I Do Foundation’s partner stores, up to 10% of guests’ gift purchases from these partner stores will be donated to your selected charity. All of these services are available free of charge at http://www.IDoFoundation.org

Baby
Celebrate the pending arrival of your baby and support our network of expectant mothers and babies! Take advantage of this exciting time and donate your baby shower gifts or collect monetary donations to help K.I.D.S. provide diapers, baby food, pacifiers, cribs and other baby essentials to families in need. The three basic options include:
Instruct guests to donate on your behalf by filling in the optional information section of our online donation form at:

Collect monetary donations the day of your party and send a check to K.I.D.S., 112 West 34th Street, Suite 1133, New York, NY 10120.
Donate your baby shower gifts to K.I.D.S. Contact us after your shower and we will deliver the gifts to a K.I.D.S. social service agency of your choice.
Birthday
In the spirit of giving to others, have a unique and meaningful birthday celebration. Collect monetary donations and/or donate your gifts to K.I.D.S. With a network of over 1,000 social service agencies, we will distribute your gifts to an organization that best matches your interests.

Coming-of-age Ceremonies
Teaching adolescents responsible giving and the significance of social action is an important aspect of K.I.D.S. and your child’s development. When a child or youth becomes recognized as an adult for the first time, celebrate the transition with a charitable purpose. K.I.D.S. will work with the young individual and his or her family to create his or her own meaningful public service project that will benefit a K.I.D.S. social service agency of their choice.
Celebration Favors
Replace traditional favors with a meaningful message to let your guests know that a donation to Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. has been made on their behalf. We have 5x7 and 8x10 templates for your editing, and we’ll print as many favors as you like.
