"Promise!? Cross Your Heart...?"
In the world of a child, the Promise is sacrosanct: One's word given is meant to be kept. In every story told to a child, the hero makes a promise and sees it through: Slay a dragon, rescue a princess, make a quest and return with the grail.
In real life, so sadly often, the Promise becomes a Story; and promises made to children surviving tragedy and natural disaster dissolve into fiction ... with the real, resulting tragedy being the growing expectation of disappointment in each child's heart.
K.I.D.S. makes promises that are kept. The time, money, resources and commitment made to children through us retain 100 percent integrity: providing books, clothing, educational games and materials, and toys; and nurturing human contact and the necessities for a renewed, optimistic and happier outlook and life.
